Do you want to work with women of faith to pursue issues of peace? Do you feel womens' voices have been largely left out of the public debate around this "War on Terrorism"? Do you feel that faith and spirituality are largely absent from the progressive movement? then join us...

This is a group of progressive women of diverse faith traditions who are committed to peace and justice. The purpose of this group is

  • To create a space to share, learn from and participate in (as appropriate)each other's respective faith traditions.
  • To integrate prayer, study and action in creating a voice for peace in our community in the wake of Sept. 11th and the "War on Terrorism"
  • To help bridge the gap between our faith/spirituality and the progressive political movements in which we may be involved.

Why join? It is especially important in this time of war and rhetoric to foster an honest understanding of one another and to reach across faith traditions to build a powerful, collaborative compassionate voice for peace.
